Creativity Out of Brokenness Journal Series

For the theme and style of these journals, I stuck to a minimalist yet abstract vibe that embodied the mind, heart, body, and soul. The typefaces chosen were Bodoni Moda for the cover and title pages, CoFo Kabeltouw for the main headers of each activity in the journals, Baskerville for the body copy, and Carrotflower for the creative prompts and free-flowing activities. Overall, a combination of writing space, empty boxes for drawing prompts, and specific blank spaces was left for creative freedom. Thoughtful abstract elements are incorporated throughout, adding value to the design as a whole. Each journal also features creative quote pages throughout with my handwriting.
