The VOICE logo development process began with an extensive exploration phase focused on originality, versatility, and brand identity. The goal was to create a mark that could represent VOICE as a modern multimedia platform while remaining recognizable across digital, video, audio, and print environments.
The process started with the creation of more than 100 thumbnail sketches and concept inventions. These rapid ideation sketches explored a wide range of visual directions, including abstract soundwave forms, speech bubbles, broadcast symbols, typographic treatments, motion inspired graphics, and minimalist geometric marks. The emphasis during this stage was quantity and experimentation allowing unconventional ideas and visual metaphors to emerge before narrowing the direction.
From this large collection of concepts, the strongest ideas were selected and refined through multiple rounds of iteration. Promising sketches were digitized and tested for scalability, readability, balance, and adaptability across multimedia applications. Different typefaces, proportions, icon systems, and compositional structures were explored to determine which combinations best communicated clarity, energy, communication, and creativity.
As the process evolved, weaker concepts were eliminated while the most effective visual language became more defined. Attention shifted toward precision refining line weight, spacing, symmetry, contrast, and overall visual harmony. The selected direction was then further polished into a final logo system that successfully balanced simplicity with a strong contemporary presence.
The final VOICE logo was chosen because it captured the platform’s identity most effectively bold, communicative, modern, and adaptable. It represents the culmination of a highly iterative design process rooted in exploration, invention, and strategic refinement.
